Hamburger/cheeseburger plate lunches will be available March 1 from
11 a.m.-1 p.m. at
Mississippi HomeCare of Eupora, located on the corner of Main Street
(North Dunn and West Roane).
The lunch includes burger and fixings, chips, drink and dessert for a
donation of $6. All proceeds will go to Relay for Life.

The GFWC/MFWC Eupora 20th Century Club will sponsor a salad luncheon
Plates ordered may be picked up at the Eupora First Baptist Church
Family Life Center between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Pre-orders only are being taken. The deadline for orders is March 1.
The cost is $8 for a salad plate, which includes three specialty
salads plus a dessert salad.
Tickets for salad luncheon plates are available from any 20th Century

258-5921, ext. 19 or Naioma Lamb, president, at 242-5607.
Proceeds from the salad luncheon club fundraiser will be used to
support community projects and scholarships sponsored by the
20th Century Club.
Holmes Workforce Development will offer a basic six-week computer
skills class March 25-April 29 at the Wood Institute campus in
Participants will learn how use email, the Internet and Microsoft
Word. The class will be taught Mondays from 5-7 p.m. and the cost is

• March 21 – The Amazing World of Azaleas
Dr. Wayne Porter, area Extension agent, Azaleas are native to many
parts of the world. Proper selection and care will provide blooms
from early spring until the first frost.
• March 28 – Herbicide Use for Weed Control
Dr. John Byrd, Extension and Research professor, Along with the green
grass, there may be other green things like weeds! Crabgrass,
dallisgrass and other weeds are fighting for space in your yard. Join
Byrd for updates on MSMA crabgrass herbicide.

Health, Fitness and Nutrition Let it RIP (Recreation Intervention
Program) personal fitness trainer Jacob Harris provides a fun and
motivating fitness class that puts the fun back into getting fit.
This class gives children and adults the knowledge and confidence
they need to make exercise a part of life. The classes are held at
