Services for Nellie Sue Edwards, 82, of Ackerman were Feb. 8, 2013, at Ackerman Church of God with the Revs. Greg Chamblee and Bill Taylor officiating. Burial was in Enon Cemetery.
She was born Nov. 13, 1930, in Choctaw County. Mrs. Edwards was retired cook and member of Ackerman Church of God. She died Feb. 6, 2013, at Starkville Manor.
Survivors include two sons, Charles W. Edwards of Ackerman and James Lloyd Edwards of West Memphis, Ark.; a daughter, Cherrie Lee Salley of Ackerman; 12 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Ackerman Church of God.
Coleman Funeral Home of Ackerman was in charge of arrangements.
Hubert Hulon Pinnix

Services for Hubert Hulon Pinnix, 87, were Feb. 9, 2013, at Blythe Creek Baptist Church in Mathiston. Burial was in the church cemetery
Son of the late Joe Lovick Pinnix Sr. and Clara Love Pinnix, he was born and lived in Choctaw County. Mr. Pinnix was a veteran of World War II and served in the European theater. He was a farmer, forester and retired supervisor for Babcock and Wilcox. He died Feb. 6, 2013, at OCH Regional Medical Center in Starkville.
Survivors include his wife, Reba Doris Reed Pinnix of Mathiston; two sons, Phil Pinnix of Port Gibson and Barney Pinnix of Boise, Idaho; a brother, Jimmie Pinnix of Grenada; two sisters, Opal McAdams and Annette Shipley of Memphis, Tenn.; seven grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
Welch Funeral Home of Starkville was in charge of arrangements.
Bobby G. Scott

Services for Bobby G. Scott, 64, will be at 2 p.m. Feb. 14, 2013, at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Eupora with burial in Crossroads Cemetery. The Rev. Buddy Pepper will officiate.
Born in Webster County, he was a retired truck driver and a member of Crossroads Baptist Church in Webster County. Mr. Scott died Feb. 9, 2013, at his home in Mantee.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Pinkerton Scott of Mantee; a daughter, Michele Bigham of Eupora, a son, Daniel G. Scott of Mantee; three sisters, Louise Williamson and Delle Scott of Greenwood, and Ann Fondren of Montpelier; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Doug Barnett, Jeff Griffin, Barry Palmer, Chad White, Johnny White and Mike Womack.
