Passport notice The Webster County circuit clerk’s office will no longer serve as an acceptance agent for passports effective Feb. 1. Chili sale/fund- raiser at OES Eupora Chapter #261 OES is having a chili sale from now until Feb. 2. The chili will be able to be picked up at the Eupora Masonic Lodge Building from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Feb. 2. First Pitch Baseball Banquet The Eupora Baseball Booster Club is hosting a First Pitch Baseball Banquet on Feb. 11. The banquet will be held at the Eupora High School cafeteria at 6:30 p.m. Former Mississippi State University Head Coach Ron Polk will be the guest speaker for the event. Coach Polk is the winningest baseball coach in all Southeastern Conference history with 1,218 wins. He is also author of “The Baseball Playbook” and co-author of “The Baseball Coaching Bible.” This event will include a silent auction where various sports items and memorabilia will be available for bidding. Tickets for the banquet are on sale through Feb. 4. If you are interested in purchasing a ticket, see any junior high, junior varsity or varsity baseball player or contact the high school office. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Eupora baseball team.

Eupora FBC FBC Eupora piano students participating in the Grenada Keyboard Festival on Jan. 26 will perform their festival hymn for audiences at FBC Eupora as part of evening worship service on Jan. 27. Evening worship service begins at 6 p.m. and the public is invited to attend.
• OCC: In order to make a greater impact for Operation Christmas Child in 2013, FBC Eupora has begun an Item-of-the-Month collection with the goal of providing 300 shoeboxes for its children and youth OCC Packing Party in November.
The items for the month of January include hats, gloves, scarves and small toys. Anyone interested in making a donation for Operation Christmas Child can bring items by the church office.
• D-WOW: Youth throughout Webster County are invited to attend Discipleship Now or D-WOW Feb. 15-17 at First Baptist Church of Eupora.
