‘Pancakes with Disney’ Saturday Relay for Life teams at First Baptist Church of Eupora and Walthall Baptist Church are hosting “Pancakes with Disney” at First Baptist Church Family Life Center from 9-11 a.m. Jan. 12.

For a donation of $10 to Relay for Life, parents have a great opportunity to bring their cameras and make pictures of their children with Mickey, Minnie, Snow White, Cinderella, Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Donald Duck and Daisy.

Friends of the Library The next meeting of Eupora Friends of the Library will be at 11:30 a.m. Jan. 14. Local author Maury Shurlds will present the program. Guest are welcome.

Brunswick stew fundraiser A Brunswick stew fundraiser will be at 11 a.m. Jan. 19 at the Stewart Fire Department.

The meal, which is $5, includes stew, cornbread/crackers, dessert and drink. Stew will also be available for $20 a gallon, $10 a half gallon and $5 a quart.

Proceeds go to the Brotherhood Scholarship Fund sponsored by Poplar Creek Nations, Stewart Baptist and Tri-County Baptist churches.

Middle Mississippi Inaugural Ball The Attala County Democratic Executive Committee and the Dr. Martin Luther King Commemoration Committee will host the Middle Mississippi Inaugural Ball celebrating the re-election of President Barrack Obama and Vice President Joseph Biden to be held Jan. 21.

Festivities will begin at 6 p.m. at the Oprah Winfrey Boys and Girls Club, 500 Knox Road, Kosciusko. Tickets are $20 (adults) and $10 (youth 5-17).

Chili sale/fund- raiser in Eupora Eupora Chapter #261 OES is having a chili sale from now until Feb. 2.

The chili will be able to be picked up at the Eupora Masonic Lodge Building from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Feb. 2.

Story Hour Story Hour at the Maben Public Library is every Friday at 10 a.m. Come enjoy stories, music and other fun learning experiences for ages 3 to 6.

Story Time Story Time at Webster County Public Library in Eupora is every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Children ages 3-6 are invited to attend and enjoy stories and activities.

AA meetings Alcoholics Anonymous meets Wednesdays from 7:30-8:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 5-6 p.m. at North Mississippi Medical Center-Eupora in the Education Conference Room.

Longview Opry Enjoy music, refreshments and fun at the Longview Opry on Highway 12 in Longview every Saturday at 7 p.m. Talent is welcome. Admission is free.

Church News FBC Eupora First Baptist Church of Eupora will be having revival Jan. 20-23, featuring Evangelist Wayne Hudson of Complete in Christ Ministries and worship with Slater Murphy. Revival will begin Sunday at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m., and weeknights at 7 p.m.
