Harlin Jones Love Dec. 14, 2012 Services for Harlin Jones Love, 78, of DeSoto, Mo., were Dec. 17, 2012, at Vineyard Funeral Home in Festus, Mo. Graveside services were Dec. 19 at Bluff Springs Cemetery in Webster County.

He was born June 17, 1934, in Embry, the son of the late Alton and Carria Hood Love. Mr. Love was a retired UAW Local #25 member with the St. Louis General Motors Plants, a member of the Missouri Deer Hunter Association and National Wild Turkey Federation. He died Dec. 14, 2012, at Crystal Oaks Skilled Nursing Center in Crystal City, Mo.

Survivors include two daughters, Janie Love Blum of Festus and Karen Ann Love of Columbia, Mo.; two brothers, Kenneth Love of Pasadena, Texas, and Tommy Love of Dexter, Mo.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren

Memorials may be made to the Missouri Department of Conservation, the Missouri Deer Hunters Association or the Bluff Springs Cemetery Fund.

Mary Montez Reece Dec. 23, 2012 Services for Mary Montez Reece, 82, were Dec. 26, 2012, at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman with the Rev. Doug Atkinson officiating. Burial was in South Union Methodist Cemetery near Ackerman.

She was born May 20, 1930. Mrs. Reece was a homemaker and member of New Zion Baptist Church. She died Dec. 23, 2012, at Starkville Manor.

Survivors include three sons, James Reece of Grenada, John Reece of Weir and Tommy Reece of Starkville; a brother, Wayne King of Weir; a sister, Gloria King of Weir; 10 grandchildren and 11 great- grandchildren.

Mrs. June Morgan Elliott Greenwood, MS

Mrs. June Morgan Elliott, 86, retired Accounts Payable Clerk for Leflore County Schools, died Sunday Dec. 23rd at her residence in Greenwood. Funeral services were at 11:00 AM Monday, Dec. 24th at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Shady Grove Methodist Cemetery in Webster County. Rev. Duane Jensen officiated.

Pallbearers were Bobby Moore, Bobby and Buck Hill, Dustin and Eric Haddon, Michael Fair and Keith May. Honorary pallbearers were Jerry Harris and Morgan Elliott.

She is survived by a daughter, Kathy V. Elliott, Greenwood; two sons, Leslie M. (Marilyn) Elliott, Greenwood and John Elliott, Greenwood; three granddaughters, Katey Deaton, Ginny and Samantha Elliott; a grandson, Morgan D. Elliott; and three great grand- children.

She was preceded in death by her husband, M. L. “Bubba” Elliott; and a son. William C. “Bill” Elliott; and a granddaughter, Meri Autumn Elliott.

Elizabeth Justice “Libby” Hood

Elizabeth Justice “Libby” Hood, 82, retired homemaker, died Saturday, December 16, 2012, at North Ms. Medical Center in Eupora. Funeral services were held 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 18th at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Calvary Cemetery in Webster County. Bro. Martin Cardin officiated.

Pallbearers were Edward Womack, Clarence Boatman, Dale Pepper, Paul Whitt and Shane Box.

She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.

Mrs. Libby is survived by her husband, Sam Hood, Eupora, MS; brother, James Justice, Eupora, MS, nieces and nephews, Mark Justice, Kathy (Lewis) Hunter, Clark (Caroline) Hunter, Paulette Box; and brother in law, Hardy Edwin (Peggy) Hood.

Mary Davison

Mantee – Mary Nell Davis Davison, 92, died Saturday, December 22, 2012, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. She was born August 31, 1920, in Chickasaw County to Joseph Wesley “Jodie” Davis and Lois Kimbell Davis. She was a retired homemaker, retail sales clerk, and a Deputy Clerk for the Webster County Sheriff’s Department.

She enjoyed her church as long as she was able to attend. She enjoyed her family, especially her grandsons. In her later years, she enjoyed traveling with her daughter and son-in-law.

Services were Wednesday, December 26, 2012, at 2:00 PM at Houston Funeral Home with Rev. William Carpenter officiating. Burial followed at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Mantee. Houston Funeral Home in Houston was in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her daughter, Mackie and Billy Willis of Mantee; her grandsons, David and Stacy Marie Willis of Ellijay, GA, Dr. Danny Willis of Boston, MA; and her many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Adolphus D. “Dave” Davison on June 8, 2007; her daughter, Mary Dolph Davison; her sister, Bonnie Henley; and her brothers, Bryant T. Davis and Ross K. Davis.

Visitation was Wednesday, December 26, 2012, from 12:00 Noon until the 2:00 PM service time at Houston Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were her nephews, Kim Davis, Billy Wilemon, Drew Pruitt, Gregg Hunter, Mike Davis, Toby Davis. Honorary pallbearers were her Church Family.
