GLC-Eupora donates $1,000 to EPD

Golden LivingCenter-Eupora donated $1,000 to the Eupora Police Department during a check presentation at City Hall on Dec. 3.

The EPD will use the donation to purchased needed equipment, specifically two bulletproof vests.

“Golden Living is proud to present this grant to the Eupora Police Department,” said Gerald Gary, executive director, Golden LivingCenter-Eupora. “We are pleased to be able to support worthwhile organizations like the Eupora Police Department, which are pillars of the Eupora community.”

The donation will be made as part of Golden Living’s Community Support Initiative grant program, which is funded through Golden LivingCenter-Eupora’s parent company, Golden Living. The Community Support Initiative grants are charitable contributions given in support of worthy non-profit community or regional organizations. Since the programs inception in 2005, more than 1,689 grants have been awarded; contributing about $1.62 million into local communities the company serves.

Golden LivingCenter-Eupora provides quality healthcare for up to 115 residents, including those needing skilled nursing and rehabilitative care.
