First Assembly announces name change, plans candlelight service

The church body of First Assembly of God, Eupora, announces a new name change to “World Harvest Outreach Ministries.”

As the weeks have passed, the church body has felt led to have a church name that would more clearly reflect the vision of the church. Services are held at 45 N. Dunn St. (in the newly renovated Miracle Land Church (next to Watkins, Ward and Stafford) on Sundays at 6 p.m.

On Dec. 23 at 6 p.m., World Harvest will hold a Community Candlelight Communion Service.

“Everyone is invited to bring their friends and family to attend and share this special time with us,” a church representative stated.

Featured vocalists will be Stephanie Dorroh Ashley, Caroline Booth Browder, Cathy Fulgham, Dr. Bob Meek, Chris and Karen Ray, Catherine Ross, Anne Booth Ross and Arey Wilson.

Featured instrumentalists will be Donnie Buckner, violinist; Chris Ray, pianist; Brandon Reeves, drums; Catherine Ross, flutist; Anne Booth Ross, keyboard and Arey Wilson, flutist and guitarist. Meek will also share a Christmas message.
