Eupora Boy Scout citrus, apple sale The Boy Scout citrus fruit and apples have arrived and may be picked up Dec. 20 and 21 from 1-6 p.m. and Dec. 22 from 8 a.m. until noon at the Scout room behind the Community Center.

To enjoy your fresh fruit, the Scouts urge everyone to pick up their orders as soon as possible.

Mom-daughter fun night The Mathiston Public Library is the place to be Dec. 21. The Civic League will be hosting a mom-daughter fun night/pajama party from 5-10 p.m.

Participants will watch a Christmas movie, make ornaments, eat and have a great time. The Civic League must have your RSVP by Thursday afternoon (Dec. 20) if you are planning on attending. For more information, call Betty at 312-8724.

Story Hour Story Hour at the Maben Public Library is every Friday at 10 a.m. Come enjoy stories, music and other fun learning experiences for ages 3 to 6.

Story Time Story Time at Webster County Public Library in Eupora is every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Children ages 3-6 are invited to attend and enjoy stories and activities.

AA meetings Alcoholics Anonymous meets Wednesdays from 7:30-8:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 5-6 p.m. at North Mississippi Medical Center-Eupora in the Education Conference Room.

Bingo at VFW Bingo is every Saturday at 6 p.m. at VFW Post 3806 in Eupora.

Longview Opry Enjoy music, refreshments and fun at the Longview Opry on Highway 12 in Longview every Saturday at 7 p.m. Talent is welcome. Admission is free.

Church News World Harvest Outreach Ministries World Harvest Outreach Ministries (formerly First Assembly of God, Eupora) will hold a Community Candlelight Communion Service at 6 p.m. Dec. 23 at 45 N. Dunn St. This is in the newly renovated Miracle Land Church next door to Watkins, Ward and Stafford on Main Street, Eupora.

The service will include guest vocalists, instrumentalists and a Christmas message from Dr. Bob Meek.

FBC Eupora First Baptist Church of Eupora will hold silent communion on Christmas Eve (Dec. 24). Cumberland Baptist Winter Vacation Bible School at Cumberland Baptist Church will be Jan. 3-5 for ages 3-12. Youth are welcome to attend. The theme will be “From the Inside Out.” VBS will include Bible study, games, crafts, fun, praise, worship and much more. Lunch will be provided. Kickoff will be at 7 p.m. Jan. 2. Winter VBS will be from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Jan. 3, 4 and 5. • Revival Services: Cumberland Baptist will have revival services Jan. 4-5 at 7 p.m. daily. Speakers will be Mike “Moses” Vanderlip on Thursday, Cody Allen on Friday and Chase Owen on Saturday, which is Youth Rally Night. Noah and the Animals will provide music for VBS and revival services. The church is located at 216 Old Cumberland Road.
