Hospital hosts Allied Health students

North Mississippi Medical Center-Eupora is excited to host Allied Health students from Choctaw County Career and Technology Center who are participating in the Allied Health Program.

The purpose of this program is to allow students to visit a multitude of areas in health care that they might be interested in pursuing post graduation. While shadowing at NMMC-Eupora, students will visit areas such as physical and occupational therapy, speech therapy, dietary, radiology, respiratory, pharmacy, laboratory and all of the nursing units (ER, Acute Care and Long-term Care).

The students are under the direction of Kim Thomas, RN; faculty of Choctaw County Career and Technology Center; and Stephanie McIlwain, RN, MSN, NMMC-Eupora’s education director.
