Gamble wins rifle at Market

By Jane Collins, Manager Maben Farmers’ Market

MABEN — Shawn Nygard, president of the Maben Chamber of Commerce, and Earl Blade, volunteer for the Maben Farmers’ Market, congratulate Jeremiah Gamble of Maben on winning the Browning A-Bolt Composite Stalker rifle.

Blade drew for the winner at 10 a.m. Saturday and Gamble was called immediately to receive the winner’s certificate and claim his prize. The chamber thanks all the hunters and others who bought raffle tickets to make this fundraiser a big success.

The Maben Chamber of Commerce sponsors the Farmers’ Market, co- sponsors the Maben Christmas Parade and puts on the biannual Chamber Banquet and Day in the Park. The organization also gives an annual $500 scholarship to a local high school senior.

Saturday was the last day for the market this year, but look for us to be back beginning in May.

The Maben Chamber of Commerce thanks the Farmers’ Market volunteers, vendors, patrons, the town of Maben and Red Williams, owner of the market lot, for all your support this year in making the market a success. We look forward to seeing many of you again next year.
