From BSA Troop 30
Troop 30 has started its fall citrus sale that will last through the month of November.
Delivery of the citrus is scheduled for Dec. 9 or 12. Don’t miss out on this delicious fruit just in time for your Christmas use or for a great Christmas gift. For additional information you may contact Jim Tidwell at 263-7802, Becky Roland at 552-4902, Donald Ellis at 263-4453 or Larry Crenshaw at 258-4231.
Florida fruit that will be offered: Hamlin oranges, navel oranges, tangelos and red grapefruit. These varieties will be offered in 2/5- bushel boxes (20 pounds) and 4/5-bushel boxes (40 pounds). The Scouts will also have a citrus trio box and a citrus mix box.
Washington state apples will also be sold. The apples offered are Red Delicious, Golden Delicious and Granny Smith. The apples are available in bushel boxes only.
Great news for our friends of scouting: despite the rising cost for most everything, we are able to hold our citrus fruit prices the same as last year. The apple prices have increased slightly; we are holding them as low as possible.
The Scouts thank everyone for their past support of our program and look forward for your continuing support. Your help makes it possible for our program to reach young men in our area.
