Charles Loran Holloway Oct. 12, 2012 Services for Charles Loran Holloway, 73, of Eupora were Oct. 15, 2012, at Wise Funeral Home Chapel in Eupora with the Rev. Willy Weddle officiating. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery in Slate Springs.

He was born Aug. 15, 1939, in Webster County to the late James G. and Ida Lou Holloway. He died Oct. 12, 2012, at North Mississippi Medical Center-Eupora.

Survivors include a son, Larry Holloway of Charlotte, N.C.; four sisters, Shirley McGraw of Tallahassee, Fla., Jimmie Lewis of Maben, Leeola Morgan of Eupora and Linda Hardy of Philadelphia; and one grandson.

Pallbearers were Matthew Brown, Tracy Brown, Nathan Frost, Edwin Hardy and Tim Hardy.

Jeremy Thomas Rosamond Oct. 14, 2012 Services for Jeremy Thomas Rosamond, 27, of Tupelo were Oct. 17, 2012, at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman. Burial was in Pine Bluff Cemetery in Kilmichael.

He was born Oct. 17, 1984, in Jackson. Mr. Rosamond was a pipefitter. He died Oct. 14, 2012, in Tupelo.

Survivors include his father, Jeffery D. Rosamand of Tupelo; his mother and stepfather, Debbie and Jerry Moore of Tupelo; two brothers, Chris Rosamond of Ackerman and Jeff Rosamond of Pontotoc; a sister, Dawn Rosamond of Orlando, Fla.; and his grandparents, Tommy and Rosetta Boyles of Winona and William and Alice Rosamond of Carrollton.

Sarah Winnice Spencer Oct. 12, 2012 Services for Sarah Winnice Spencer, 80, of Starkville were Oct. 14, 2012, at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman with the Revs. Chip Stevens and Clifton Curtis officiating. Burial was in Enon Cemetery.

She was born May 14, 1932. Mrs. Spencer was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church in Starkville. She died Oct. 12, 2012, at Carrington Nursing Center in Starkville.

Survivors include a son, Scott Spencer of Pelham, Ala.; a daughter, Sarah E. Spencer of Starkville; three grandchildren and one great- grandchild.

Mrs. Clara Walker, 96, retired homemaker, died Wed. Oct. 10, 2012 at the Carrington Nursing Center in Starkville, MS. Funeral services were held 11:00AM Friday Oct.12th. at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel, Bro. Tim Long and Bro. Steve Griffin officiated, with burial in the Salem Independent Methodist Church Cemetery in Choctaw County. Visitation was held 5:30PM until 8:00PM Thursday Oct. 11th. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers were Danny Walker, Mike Latham, Matthew Carden, Marc Carden, Broc Carden and Jonathan Walker.

She is survived by two daughters, Ella Margret Latham, Starkville, MS, and Gloria (Johnny) Carden, Mathiston, MS; four sons, Devon (Wilma) Walker, Starkville, MS, Douglas (Carolyn) Walker, Starkville, MS, Glen (Lillie) Walker, Mathiston, MS and Teddy (Betty) Walker, Starkville, MS; three sisters, Katherine Ramage, Kosciusko, MS, Mildred Boothe, Harrisonburg, LA, and Jean De StGermain, Baton Rouge, LA; one brother, Harold Murray, Mt. Vernon, MO; twelve grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Walker; a daughter, Elizabeth Latham; and a son, Ralph Walker.

Harriett Embry Walker Eupora, MS

Harriett Embry Walker, 71, retired school teacher, died October 7, 2012 at her home. Visitation was from 5:30-8:00 PM on Tuesday evening, October 9, 2012 at Oliver Funeral Home. Funeral services were held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at Eupora First United Methodist Church. Bro. Trey Harper officiated the services including burial at Eupora Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Patton and Trae Embry, Russell Long, Owen Hines, Mark Bryant, Brad Clanton and Jason Newcomb. Honorary pallbearers were Members of the Carroll Sunday School Class.

Harriett is survived by her husband of fifty years, Ruben Walker; two sons, Todd Walker of Madison, MS and Thad Walker (Stephanie) of Bellefontaine, MS; two granddaughters, Hannah and Lydia Walker of Madison, MS; sister-in-law, Cathy Embry; two nephews, Trae Embry and Patton Embry; two nieces, Meg Embry Newcomb and Denise Ostovich; special cousins, Iantha Hines and Emmy Long.

Harriett was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Thelma Embry; and her brother, Ralph (Shorty) Embry.

Harriett was a member of Eupora First United Methodist Church where she taught the Ladies Fellowship class. She also led the Wednesday morning Ladies Sunshine prayer group.
