Slowpitch season comes to a close

The Lady Wolverines finished their slowpitch season with a 7-2 over the Eupora Eagles last Thursday.

East Webster jumped on the scoreboard in the top of the third inning with two runs batted in.

But the Lady Eagles answered back in the bottom of third with a pair of runs evening the score, 2-2. However, this would be the last inning Eupora would be able to produce runs.

The Lady Wolverines continued to score in the top of fourth inning adding a run, three runs in the fifth, and another run in sixth.

East Webster’s Kerrigan Clark went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs while Autumn Frost was 3-for-4 with a double.

Allie Steadman led the Lady Eagles and was 2-for-4 with a run scored.
