Justice Court Clerk Janice Brunty, in a release issued Tuesday, said the court will be collecting old fines.

The “roundup” is focusing on anyone who has fines with the Justice Court and is not making timely payments or whose time to have them paid has expired. “A cash-only warrant for failure to pay will be issued and you will be arrested,” Brunty said.

The roundup will include failure-to-pay warrants and all outstanding warrants. She said the Sheriff’s Department is working diligently with the Justice Court to serve all warrants.
