Peggy S. Trussell Latham, 76, entered into eternal peace on Saturday, September 8, 2012, in Colorado Springs, Co.

Born in Choctaw County, MS, she was the daughter of the late Troy E. and Earlean Simpson Trussell.

She was preceded in death by her late husband James C. Latham; and a brother, Louis Trussell. Funeral Services were held 11:00 AM Saturday September 15, 2012 at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Eupora, Rev. Willy Weddle officiating, with burial in the West Point Memorial Garden Cemetery in West Point, MS.

Pallbearers were Colby Latham, Cameron Latham, Chad Latham, Shawn Howell, Michael Swetz, and Steve Swetz.

Surviving are four children, Diane (Ron) Austin of Colorado Springs, CO, Dale (Lisa) Latham of Columbus, MS, Judy Rival of New Britain, CT, and Mike Latham of West Point, MS; brother, Oakley (Liz) Trussell of Tomnolen, MS; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Barbara Kilgore Gary Eupora, MS

Mrs. Barbara Kilgore Gary, 96, died Friday, September 14, 2012 at her home in Eupora. Funeral services was at 2:00 pm Monday, September 17 at First Baptist Church in Eupora with burial in Webster Memorial Gardens. Rev. Josh Buford and Rev. Billy Michael Trull officiated. Visitation was Sunday, September 16 from 5:30 pm until 8:00 pm at Oliver Funeral Home.

Mrs. Gary was a retired secretary at Oxford Production Credit Association. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, W. D. Gary.

Survivors include a daughter, Gayle (Earl) Baker of Eupora; son, Wister Gary of Clinton; sister, Lurlie Clark of Anguilla, MS; 5 grandchildren, Bill Baker, Barbie York, Betty Ann Pittman, Savanna Gary, Cody Gary; and 6 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Dale Bailey, C. J. Clark, Oscar Clark, Bubba Gary, Jessie Wayne Kilgore, and Clyde Kilgore.

Mr. Thomas H. Graves Mathiston, MS

Mr. Thomas H. Graves, 75, died Sunday, September 9, 2012 at the Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. Funeral services were Tuesday, September 11 at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church in Mathiston with burial in Blythe Creek Cemetery in Choctaw County. Rev. Wade Stevens and Rev. Danny Irvin officiated. Visitation was at 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday at Oliver Funeral Home in Eupora.

Mr. Graves was a retired Planner for United Technologies of Columbus for 39 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Mathiston and an Air National Guard veteran. He also served as a deacon at East End Baptist Church in Columbus and Blythe Creek Baptist Church for several years.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Gloria Crowley Graves of Mathiston; daughter, Teresa (Col. Jim) Powell of Prattville, AL; step daughter, Debra (Tony) Adams of Greenwood, MS; step son, Donnie Hall of Ackerman; 2 grandchildren, Zachary and Joshua Powell; 4 step grandchildren, Justin and Nicole Kemp, Natalie Duckworth, T. J. Hall; 5 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Zachary Powell, Joshua Powell, Josh Duckworth, Justin Kemp, Larry McClain, Ricky Young. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Gary Jackson Sunday School Class.
