‘5th Quarters @ The Shed’ start Friday

From Eupora FUMC

The Eupora First United Methodist Church youth are gearing up for another year of fun during football season with “5th Quarters @ The Shed.”

Following every Eupora High School home game, the youth of the community are invited back to the church for food, fun and entertainment.

“We are very excited about what we planned for this season,” shares Kelly Roberts, youth director at EFUMC. “Each night is gonna be a little different, but a lot of fun.”

Things will kick off this Friday night, Aug. 24, following the Eupora game with food, games and a bonfire. Then Sept. 14 will be MOVIE NIGHT, with a special outdoor showing of “Remember the Titans,” complete with popcorn and treats.

Oct. 5 will be T-SHIRT NIGHT, where the kids are invited to bring a T- shirt, and the church will supply the dye for a night of tie-dye craziness, complete with pizza and ice cream.

And finally, Oct. 12 will be RACE FOR THE GOLD with relay races, prizes and plenty of pancakes to go around.

Every night will feature music and LOTS of FOOD! So come and celebrate a winning Eagles season with EFUMC. The public is invited and encouraged to come and celebrate. For more information contact the church office at 258-2611.
