MATHISTON — Brandon Presley, Northern District public service commissioner, heard directly from ratepayers during a Rural Community Meeting on July 17 at Bennett Hall Auditorium.
He updated those attending on issues before the Public Service Commission. These included the state’s “No Call” program, and the push to provide cell phone coverage and high-speed internet service to rural communities.
Presley travels to every county in the Northern District at least once a year to represent the needs of each community with utility companies. Last year the PSC received more than 13,000 consumer complaints and inquiries.
Anyone with questions about their utility service or bill may call Presley’s office at 1-800-637-7722 or email him at email@example.com.
