Donald Lemar Ray July 2, 2012 Services for Donald Lemar Ray, 60, were July 12, 2012, at Weir United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jack Smith officiating. Burial was in Weir Cemetery.

He was born Sept. 23, 1951, in Kosciusko to Virginia Woodward Ray and the late Quarles Lemar Ray. Mr. Ray retired as the administrator of Grenada Lake Medical Center in 1998 and attended Columbus First United Methodist Church. He died July 2, 2012, at his residence in Columbus.

Survivors include a son, Patrick L. Ray of Grenada; a daughter, Katy Murphy of Chelsea, Ala.; a sister, Betty Ray-Wycott of Sandy, Utah; his mother, Virginia Woodward Ray of Sandy; and two grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Weir United Methodist Church or the Salvation Army.

Coleman Funeral Home of Ackerman was in charge of arrangements.

Robert Evans Weed Sr. July 14, 2012 Services for Robert Evans Weed Sr., 85, were July 17, 2012, at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman with the Rev. Danny Irvin officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery in West Point.

He was born July 1, 1927, in Woodland. Mr. Weed retired from the U.S. Army as a sergeant and was a member of Ackerman Baptist Church. He died July 14, 2012, at his residence in Ackerman.

Survivors include three sons, James V. Weed of Marrero, La., William H. Weed of Mansfield, Ohio, and Robert E. Weed Jr. of Ackerman; a daughter, Marjorie Fletcher of Mathiston; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Ackerman Baptist Church.

Mr. Donnie Lamb

Mr. Donnie Lamb, 65, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at North Mississippi Medical Center – Eupora in Eupora, MS. Visitation was held Thursday, July 12, 2012, 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Oliver Funeral Home, Eupora, MS. Funeral services were held Friday, July 13, 2012, 2:00 p.m. at Mathiston First Baptist Church with Bro. Melvin Mordecai officiating. Interment was at Eupora City Cemetery at Eupora, MS.

Mr. Lamb was a truck driver and a member of Mathiston First Baptist Church at Mathiston, MS.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Irvin and Mary Lois Lamb; and a son, Stephen Craig Lamb.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Middleton Lamb, Eupora, MS; daughter, Donna Carol Hubbard, Carrolton, GA; son, Tim Lamb; and 3 grandchildren, Kaitlyn Lamb, Jodi Hubbard, and Jacob Hubbard.

Pallbearers were Tom Jack Williams, Tommy Peacock, Max Fondren, Terry Stidham, Lloyd Dewberry, and Willard Easley.
