Webster County 4-H will be hosting a NASA summer workshop.
Children who participate in NASA’s Summer of Innovation Camp will conduct experiments and perform activities related to air pressure, density, astronomy, gravity, robotics and the solar system.
The hands-on activities will give the children a different understanding of various aspects of science. They will also learn the value of teamwork.
The NASA summer workshops, each of which is from 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m., will be on these dates: • July 2, call the Extension Office by June 29 to reserve your spot. • July 9, call the Extension Office by July 6 to reserve your spot. • July 23, call the Extension Office by July 20 to reserve your spot • July 30, call the Extension Office by July 27 to reserve your spot.
The NASA summer workshop costs $5 and is open to youth in fourth through ninth grades.
Ten slots are available so please call the Webster County Extension Office at 258-3971 to reserve your child’s spot or to receive further information.
