Rocking, rolling at the library

By Fran Smith, Librarian
Webster County Library
The children who attended Story Time at Webster County Library on May 16 rocked and rolled with Ms. Pat and Ms. Dot and the puppets.
“Shades,” the hip longhaired performer with sunshades, led them in an echoing song “Rock and Roll is Here to Stay.” Then the clapping puppets Annie and Archie sang and clapped to “If You’re Happy and You Know It.” The fuzzy dog Bingo led the children as they spelled out his name B-I-N-G-O.
Children who attended were Kate Vowell, John David Vowell, Claude Salley, Sproles Stewart, Rinnah Stewart, Ethan Stephenson and Brewer Mann.
Join Ms. Pat and Ms. Dot as they present the third program in the Summer Reading Series at the Webster County Public Library on Tuesday, June 19 at 1:30 p.m.
