4-H club, leader earn awards

The Controllers Generation II 4-H Club of Maben and Leader Rose Coffey received eight awards at the Maroon Volunteer Center and Volunteer Starkville’s 2012 Volunteer Awards Banquet.

The banquet was April 24 at Mississippi State University’s Hunter Henry Center. Coffey, Jameka Harkins and James Coffey received the Volunteer Spirit Award and the President’s Volunteer Service Gold Awards for individuals.

The Controllers Generation II 4-H Club won the Volunteer Spirit Award for an organization and the President’s Volunteer Bronze Award for an organization.
