From Staff Reports
Eupora High football players were treated to a deer meat supper at the Community Center on May 10. Eagle supporters Tommy Gladney and Billy Blalack honored the senior players, and the 2012 eighth-grade, junior varsity and varsity teams with the meal. They enjoyed watching a highlight film from last season’s games during the supper. Gladney, who furnished the venison, and Blalack, who provided the biscuits, thanked those who assisted with the meal: Eric Hawes, who set up the room; Rekab’s Seafood and Steak, which baked the biscuits; Central Service Grill, which furnished the gravy; Sonic, which furnished the french fries; Wonder Bread for the snacks and Head Coach Junior Graham, who provided the highlight film. The supper is an annual event before the Eupora High School Jamboree. Eupora hosted Senatobia, Water Valley, Bruce and East Webster in Friday’s scrimmage at Wofford Field.
