Webster County native library speaker

From Staff Reports

Mary Anne Doolittle Byrne will be speaking and signing copies of “Recycled Pets are Best” at noon May 14 when Friends of Webster County Library meet for Luncheon with Books. Born and raised in Webster County, she has been involved in rescuing animals for more than 40 years. After 16 years with FedEx Express, and obtaining an MBA in aviation, Byrne left corporate America to pursue her passion in writing and photography. Her works have been published in Soaring Society of America magazine, North Mississippi Christian Family magazine, FedEx AOD Today and the Memphis Shelby County Humane Society calendar. A dedicated commitment to her maiden name of Doolittle, Byrne published the book “Recycled Pets are Best” as a way to help feed shelter pets and show how one person can make a difference in the lives of many unwanted, neglected and abused animals. She is married to Ronald Byrne and they reside in northern Mississippi but have plans to make their home in Webster County.
