Easter display at Maben Public Library

From Press Reports

MABEN — The public is invited to come and view the latest display at the Maben Public Library. For the patrons’ pleasure, the library tries to change out the displays on a monthly basis. Several ladies of the community provide this complimentary service. For everyone’s enjoyment, the library is filled with the bunnies, eggs, flowers, Easter egg trees, Easter baskets of colorful glass eggs, brightly colored boxes, nesting eggs and bunnies, and Beatrix Potter books, all of which cover the table tops, curios cabinets, genealogy cabinet and the book cases. The Easter bunny tea set in the curio cabinet is a must see. The Mardi Gras bunnies on top of the curio cabinet are on loan by Marie Pinnix; they are most unusual but fascinating to look at. The cloth Easter bunny, which is on loan, was made by the late Frances Howard, mother to Majorie Tenhet, Lesa Howard of Maben. This month the display features Easter theme decorations on loan by library patron Dottie Dewberry.
