The Maben Public Library invites the public to come view the newest display: roosters.
The display items are on loan to the library by Frances Douglas, Marie Pinnix and Dottie Dewberry. Douglas said her collection evolved through friends and family contributing roosters to her over the years.
The display is composed of roosters made of tin, ceramic, feathers, chalk and glass. The colors range from brilliant yellow, red, and brown to various shades of orange, turquoise, and green.
The library is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.
